Nigerian culinary entrepreneur Tolani Tayo-Osikoya, popularly known as Chef T, is set to return with the third season of her cooking competition series, Delicious or Disaster, on September 25, 2026.
The YouTube series will feature contestants competing for a ₦1 million cash prize in each episode, with the new season introducing tougher cooking challenges and a studio kitchen built specifically for the production.
Created and hosted by Chef T, the series brings together content creators, celebrities and home cooks for timed cooking challenges. Contestants work with unpredictable ingredients and must prepare dishes within set time limits before their meals are assessed as either “Delicious” or a “Disaster.”
The third season will feature food critic Opeyemi Famakin, digital creator Simi Sanya, and fashion and beauty entrepreneur Adeola Adeyemi, popularly known as Diiadem, on the judging panel.
The return of the series marks another step in Chef T’s transition from food-focused content creation into digital entertainment. She began Diary of a Kitchen Lover in 2018 after graduating with an accounting degree from Babcock University, initially building an audience through recipes and other food-related content.
Her profile grew after she won Sterling Bank’s Jollof Master competition in 2019. She later received formal culinary training at the Italian Chef Academy in Rome and went on to work on collaborations with consumer brands.
With Delicious or Disaster, Chef T has expanded her food-content platform into a competition format that combines cooking, entertainment and creator-led storytelling.
The series also reflects the growing use of digital platforms by creators to develop original entertainment formats for online audiences, rather than limiting their work to traditional recipe or lifestyle content.
The third season will be available globally on YouTube through the Diary of a Kitchen Lover channel from September 25, 2026.
