Nollywood stars Bimbo Ademoye and Timini Egbuson set social media alight this week after sharing a series of wedding-styled photos together, first in coordinated white wedding looks, then in traditional attire, each set stylised like a real couple’s big day. The photos spread quickly across TikTok and Instagram, with fans leaning further into their long-running ship, and fellow celebrities, including Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo, joining in on the fun with excited comments, clearly in on the joke rather than genuinely convinced the pair had married.
The pairing has fuelled this kind of reaction for years. Ademoye joked publicly earlier this year that she would only marry Timini if his film hit a box office milestone, and the two have built a steady run of on-screen chemistry across projects including Big Love and Tanwa Savage, which keeps fans rooting for them regardless of how many times both sides have made clear it is not that kind of relationship. This latest shoot, with its full white wedding and traditional ceremony styling, was simply the best version yet of a bit everyone already knows the rules to.

The photos were, in fact, promotional material for Ademoye’s upcoming film, My 30th Wedding, teased under the hashtag #M30W. Ademoye had announced the project days earlier with an early-2000s styled teaser video, confirming the film also features veteran actors Patrick Doyle and Gloria Young, though she had kept the identity of her co-lead under wraps until the wedding-themed photos made it obvious. With the reveal now out in the open, attention shifts to when the full film will actually premiere.
