Nigerian shared-mobility company Shuttlers marked its 10th anniversary on Sunday, October 11, 2026, celebrating a decade of helping commuters get to work and other destinations through shared transportation.
The company’s co-founder and chief executive officer, Damilola Olokesusi, acknowledged the milestone in a lighthearted social media post, joking that she was not celebrating the anniversary but attending a wedding party instead.
Founded in 2016, Shuttlers was established to address the challenges of commuting in Lagos, where traffic congestion, transportation costs and unpredictable journeys affect the daily lives of workers. Its platform allows commuters to book seats on scheduled buses, while businesses can arrange transportation for their employees.

Over the years, the company has expanded its mobility offerings to serve individuals and organisations with different transportation needs, building a business around making daily journeys more convenient.
The anniversary marked a significant milestone for the company, reflecting on a decade of growth in Nigeria’s urban mobility sector, where reliable and accessible transportation remains an important part of everyday life.
While Olokesusi’s post took a humorous approach to the occasion, the milestone celebrated the work of a team that has spent a decade developing transportation solutions for commuters.
Congratulations to the entire Shuttlers team on 10 years of growth, impact and moving people forward.
