Precious Ashiogwu, popularly known as Dede Ashiogwu, is a 23-year-old entrepreneur and fitness coach from Delta State who started out building her own businesses long before stepping into the spotlight of Big Brother Naija. Born on October 23, 2001, she was raised in a close-knit family in Delta State and studied Theatre and Media Arts at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, where she developed her background in performance, communication and media.

While she was still in school, Dede launched a clothing business which she ran and promoted herself on Instagram, building an audience through her bold fashion sense and direct personality. Alongside fashion, she also trained and worked as a certified fitness coach, hosting physical bootcamps and online training sessions focused on wellness and healthy living for young women. The two businesses became her main sources of income and gave her financial independence at a young age. One of the defining moments of her early career was buying her mother her first house at 23 years old. She has described it as her proudest achievement and a result of years of saving and reinvesting from her businesses.

Her national exposure came on July 26, 2025, when she entered Big Brother Naija Season 10. She described herself as a Gen-Z baddie who came for the money, the exposure and the plot twists. Inside the house, she quickly became known for her confidence, directness and competitive energy. Her fitness background helped her stand out in tasks and arena games, while her style and unbothered demeanor made her one of the most talked-about housemates of the season. She finished as first runner-up, polling 15.9 percent of total votes among 29 housemates.

Since leaving the house, Dede has focused on building beyond reality TV. She has headlined fashion and lifestyle campaigns including the Miskay x Dede collection and has continued to grow her brand across fashion, wellness and lifestyle influencing. She has also spoken about her plans to expand into acting, hosting and launching her own fashion line, while maintaining her work as an entrepreneur.
