Jarvis, the popular Nigerian content creator, has announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Peller, sharing photographs from their pregnancy photoshoot on Instagram on Thursday, October 8, 2026, two months after the couple’s August wedding ceremonies.
In the images, Jarvis was reported to be cradling her baby bump, standing side by side with Peller in one frame and receiving a gentle kiss on the forehead from him in another, with his hand resting on her stomach. She described the pregnancy as a little piece of their love, as their greatest blessing and as an answered prayer, and she was reported to have introduced the couple as husband and wife and soon-to-be parents, calling the pregnancy their most beautiful chapter yet.

The announcement follows months of speculation that began as far back as 2024, when rumours first gathered around the couple and an AI-generated image later circulated widely enough that Dubawa fact-checked it. Earlier this year, Jarvis was reported to have told fans to stop saying she was pregnant and to have linked her fuller figure to a weight gain journey and medication, before she was said to have confirmed the pregnancy herself during a livestream last month, where she joked that their honeymoon did not moon because they were too tired.
Fellow content creators, celebrities and fans were reported to have flooded the couple’s pages with congratulatory messages wishing Jarvis a safe pregnancy and delivery, although some outlets noted that the announcement also drew mixed reactions online, reflecting the scrutiny that often follows the couple’s relationship.

Jarvis and Peller, who built their following on TikTok, were reported to have married in a court ceremony on July 29 and in a traditional ceremony in Lagos on August 1, and the pregnancy marks their first child together. No due date had been publicly reported at the time of writing.
