Nigerian mixed martial artist Jane “The Slayer” Osigwe defeated Morocco’s Sanaa Mandar by unanimous decision at PFL Africa: Morocco in Casablanca on Saturday, October 10, securing the win after three rounds in front of Mandar’s home crowd.
All three judges scored the contest in Osigwe’s favour, with scorecards reading 29–28, 29–28 and 29–27.
The victory came in a 132-pound catchweight contest and marked another meeting between the two fighters. Osigwe entered the rematch having won their first encounter, while Mandar had the opportunity to respond on home soil.
Osigwe, who fights out of Africa Top Team Nigeria, competed on a card featuring fighters from across the continent. Her victory added to Nigeria’s representation at the Casablanca event, which also featured Nigerian lightweight Patrick Ocheme, who defeated Cornel Thompson by knockout in a separate bout.
The event marked PFL Africa’s first show in North Africa, bringing the promotion to Morocco as it continues to showcase mixed martial arts talent across the continent. The card featured local fighters facing opponents from other African countries, highlighting the cross-border competition taking place within the regional MMA scene.

For Osigwe, the unanimous decision gives her another victory to build on as she continues competing professionally. Defeating Mandar in Morocco adds context to the result, particularly given the challenge of facing an opponent before a home crowd.
The win provides another result for Nigerian MMA supporters to follow as African fighters continue competing across the continent. Osigwe’s subsequent performances and future matchups will help determine how the victory shapes her campaign.
