Guests at Dr Akin Faminu and Kiky Festus’s traditional wedding in Lagos on Saturday, September 5, turned out in custom lace, sculpted corsets, and statement Geles, as the celebration, held under the hashtag #HookedOnTheFaminus, became one of the week’s biggest style moments.
Actress Jemima Osunde wore a rose-pink, floor-length gown featuring geometric chevron pattern work through the skirt, with a strapless sweetheart neckline connected to a matching neck strap.

Content creator Dede Ashiogwu was seen in a lilac-green fringe dress, while actress Bella Okagbue turned heads in a hot-pink basque corset gown, featuring a petal-shaped sweetheart neckline, a keyhole cutout, and a semi-sheer blush-pink mermaid skirt covered in sequin lattice detailing, finished with a crown-style rose-pink Gele and a handheld pink fan.

Other notable guests included comedian Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, known as Kiekie, who wore a lilac, pink, and olive-green fringed ensemble. Actress Roseline Afije, known as Liquorose, wore a purple structured lace outfit with olive-green floral detailing.

Nollywood couple Stan and Blessing Nze also drew attention in coordinated purple and white traditional attire, with Blessing in a custom ombré purple gown, metallic lilac Gele, and white beaded choker.
The couple themselves opened the celebration in custom looks styled by The Style Infidel, with Kiky in a metallic gold mermaid gown by Emagine By Bukola featuring a corseted bodice covered in ruby-red beadwork, paired with traditional coral beads, while Akin wore a brown velvet embroidered Agbada by Deji and Kola. The traditional wedding follows the couple’s civil ceremony held in April.
