Nollywood actress Susan Pwajok celebrated her mother, Carol Pwajok, on Monday, October 5, as she marked her birthday, sharing a series of stunning photos of the celebrant on social media.

The photos showed Carol dressed elegantly as she marked another year, with Susan using the occasion to celebrate her mother and give fans a glimpse into their close relationship.

For Susan, the celebration went beyond the birthday photos. Carol played a significant role in the actress’s life, raising her as a single parent and supporting her from childhood into her career in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Susan began acting as a child and became widely known for playing Blessing in the popular family sitcom The Johnsons. She has since continued to build her career across acting, modelling and digital media.

Her relationship with her mother has also featured in conversations about her childhood, with Susan previously speaking about her mother’s support and the experiences they shared growing up.

On Monday, however, the spotlight was firmly on Carol as Susan celebrated her mother with beautiful portraits and birthday wishes.

The celebration offered a softer glimpse into their bond, with Susan turning the attention away from herself to honour the woman who has been a constant presence throughout different seasons of her life.
