Ayra Starr’s breakout single Rush has officially surpassed 600 million views on YouTube.
The official music video was said to have reached 600,304,696 views and about 2.5 million likes at the time of writing, figures that make it the fourth most viewed Nigerian music video on YouTube and the first by a female Nigerian artiste to cross the 600 million mark.

Rush was released in September 2022 as part of Ayra Starr’s debut studio album, 19 & Dangerous, and quickly became one of her most successful records.
The song was said to have become the first solo single by a Nigerian female artiste to cross 100 million views on YouTube, before going on to pass 300 million views and later contributing heavily to Ayra Starr becoming the first Nigerian female artiste to surpass 1 billion total views on the platform across her catalogue, a feat she was reported to have shared with fans on her Instagram page.
The track was also said to have earned Ayra Starr a Platinum Certification in the United Kingdom after surpassing 600,000 units in combined sales and streams, marking her first entry on the UK Official Top 100 chart. She had earlier picked up a Diamond Certification for the song in France, and Rush went on to earn her a Grammy nomination for Best African Music Performance at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
